The pensioner couple: a flat-roof home with 150 units of monthly use chooses 2 kW, receives Rs 60,000 and pays under Rs 80,000 net. The family of five: 380 units a month, 3 kW, subsidy Rs 78,000, bill down by about 80 per cent.
